embassy).
2- Applying for a Canadian visa through the VFS
office. And both methods require the same procedures and required documents,
and in the event that you choose the second method, the center will represent
you in the required procedures, for an additional cost. The approved centers
also provide services such as mail delivery of passport and travel insurance.
Documents required to travel to Canada
- Passport: It must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel, and it must contain at least two blank pages, and in case you do not have a passport, a travel document must be produced.
- A copy of the biometric data page: This is the personal information page in the passport. As well as photos of all pages that contain visas or stamps.
- Travel History Documents: Canceled or expired passports, as well as copies of previous expired and valid visas, and exit and return stamps, must be submitted on your valid passport or other expired passports, if any.
- Residence document: If you are applying for a Canadian visa while you are outside your home country, you must submit a document proving your residence status there, whether your residence is for work, study, or visit.
- Criminal status document: It is a government document that proves that your criminal record is free of crimes, and the document must be translated into English.
Documents of financial ability and connection to the homeland
Financial ability documents are a set of the most
important documents that must be submitted to enhance the chances of acceptance
of your application for a Canadian visa, and they are documents that prove your
financial ability to support yourself and cover travel costs, and your family
members if they are with you during the travel period, and whenever the largest
possible amount of financial documents are available The higher your chance of
getting your visa application accepted. These documents are like:
- Bank account statement: for the last 4 months at least to prove your income and financial ability, it must be extracted in English.
- Certificates of savings or bank deposits.
- Commercial business documents: If you are a merchant, asset owner or businessman, you can submit (real estate assets, tax card, commercial registry).
- Letter from the employer HR Letter: If you are an employee, you can extract it from the employer, and the letter must include: job title, salary, manager signature, company seal, commercial registration number and company phone numbers.
